Anyway I had cribbed about the lack of efficiency that results from outdated, cumbersome paper work even where it is easily possible to cut paper work. Our Police Records are maintained separately in each district/state etc, so if a criminal decides to work in Mumbai after being in  Police Records in Chennai, the Police will verify him as innocent (in their records he is innocent) in Mumbai. Definitely hard copy is required to verify the drawing.
