Jokes apart, Varun Gandhi should come up and work for the society.
thank you for stopping by.......
tc........ :)
I think he is a sorry fellow. He should have been some working professional like us....
Politics is not his forte, that much is clear now.
honestly i have no idea who is he :)
All this talk of youth is a red herring. You too seem to have gone for it, like many others!
You are bang on target about Rahul but then this is how congress has been for decades ........
the second line of your above comment itself contradict with your views. How the hell do you think that Rahul Gandhi understand the pulse of voters?
And I am sure this love for youth is a good thing, but we should remember that in a large country like India we cannot get leader in their 40s or 50s at national level. If someone like Mr. Gandhi is pushed up, it is a slap on the face of our democracy and all those who have spent their 20-30 precious years to come up at national level. They were also young some time.
And who told you that Laloo, Mulayam, Modi, Karat has no brain and political acumen.
Don't flow with emotions, think, and reason with yourself. May be you will get the answer.
1) I never said that he understand the pulse of voters.
2) " a large country like India we cannot get leader in their 40s or 50s at national level"........ this isn't true - barack obama - Age 46, Rajiv gandhi - Age 40 (Youngest PM) et al
3) I agree Mr. Gandhi is pushed up, but how is it a slap on democracy, haven't before this people being pushed up and assumed power, Sonia Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, our current PM is a to extend is pushed up, he isn't a natural politician......... what matters in democracy is whether people vote for or not.......... whether he/She is pushed up or not is irrelevant.
4) Please for country sake don't tell me that Laloo, Mulayam, Modi , karat are good for the country and can become PM one day, even a political novice can tell you whats wrong with these guys.
5) I believe that what i have written isn't emotional stuff and i have reasoned my self before writing, there is no issue of flowing with emotions............
Thanks for stopping by !!
1) I never said that he understand the pulse of voters.
>>>Then why are we wooing him.

>>>>>Please tell me how we are promoting democracy by introducing a person directly at national level, just because he belongs to a family. There are hundreds and hundreds of other more talented people trying to make a niche in politics, so without giving them equal chance, imposing a person on a party is democracy?
And surely Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh are good people but not a shining example of democracy.

1) I never said that he understand the pulse of voters.

<<< I am not wooing him, i have mentioned in the post that i haven't voted for congress before and i believe that they have done more damage then good to the country........Plz. refer 3rd paragraph..... i have nothing to gain from wooing him. the post is just food for thought

<<<< in past 60 years we have been ruled by the nehru - gandhi dynasty ..... majority likes them ............. push -up or not makes no difference........... votes matter nothing else......

<<<<<<introducing a person directly at national level is not in common mans hand , if we the people of this country want to promote democracy then the best option is not to vote this folks (or in your words push -up :) )

<<<< here i am with you.......... brilliancy is not always good, but morals are..... but sadly for our country most of the folks in power don't give a shit to morals.

<<<< 110 % ........ :)
Varun Gandhi did show lot of promise, but then suddenly he is gone.......... not a word is said about him in the media........... anyways he is one of the option............. but the really challenge for him will be to climb up the hierarchy in the party, which i guess he will need some time to achieve...........
