  • Shruti Nautiyal · 1 year ago
Yeah, you missed out one dynamic leader to be the next prime minister: Shruti Nautiyal

Jokes apart, Varun Gandhi should come up and work for the society.

As you said the options with BJP are Sachin Pilot and Jyotiraditya Scindia(again both belong to certain political dynasty). The point here is we dont see a single party winning the majority seats and Rahul Gandhi at the helm of matters will be able to persuade his fellow senior leaders and other leaders to support him on his level headed decision (i.e if he makes one) simply because of the respect that he gets from them.
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
Hey, Congress have options of Sachin Pilot & J Scindia............ sorry if have not been more clear about it ..........both of them are congress men.......... If this forum is anything to go by........... folks aren't very confident about the abilities of Rahul Gandhi............... anyways time will tell whether he goes on to become a good leader or not.............

    thank you for stopping by.......

    tc........ :)

I sure hope and pray that Rahul Gandhi is never made PM. I think he is a jerlk of the first order.
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
hehehehe........... i know he isn't extraordinary or very charismatic type......... but ya do believe he is a decent fella.........
  • kten · 1 year ago
    No Man!!
I think he is a sorry fellow. He should have been some working professional like us....
Politics is not his forte, that much is clear now.
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
May be........ i guess jane made the same point which your are saying that he shouldn't be in politics......
  • jane · 1 year ago
from a personal standpoint, i think the guy is just being pushed into politics.. it's almost like a curse to be born in the family.. ya dun really see the passion,, it's almost always a small boy sucking on his mommy's thumb.. can't blame him.. if an old wise guy with a wiser turban can be twirled around her fingers, a son can't do much.. teh other rahul in the bjp myte have been a remote possibility, if not for his drug-maniacy and his near handshake with death!
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
You are bang on target............... he is here more do to his GANDHI tag............... ya the BJP rahul could have been some prospect but as we all know what happened to him.........
  • vinni · 1 year ago
i feel only LK Advani can do justice to this country. he is the only one who has the balls. all these congress buggers are puppets. we need a true leader.
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
Ya after Vajpayeeji he is the one........... sadly we do not have any young guns who has the potential to be a good leader............... Rahul Gandhi is there but as i said he is here more due to his Gandhi tag..........otherwise he is no different then other folks.............
  • OldSailor · 1 year ago
One more youngest Gandhi you have left out is son of Priyanka. He will get support from grandsons of many present day UPA leaders.:)
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
    hehehe.........

honestly i have no idea who is he :)

If youth be the overriding factor, then Rahul is your only man. Ironically, he not a candidate because of his youth; it is his family and not his age that has provided him with an opportunity. No other 'young' leader in any party stands even a chance unless there is dynastic succession.

All this talk of youth is a red herring. You too seem to have gone for it, like many others!
  • Sachin Sawant · 1 year ago
Ohh No sir, i haven't gone for it........... this post is just a food for thought............. as i mentioned i have never vote for the congress.......... ya but then i strongly feel we need a young PM who understands the pulse of the today's voters who are predominately young folks like me......... i don't mind whether he is from right, left or center as long as he is young and has some brain.

You are bang on target about Rahul but then this is how congress has been for decades ........
  • chakresh · 1 year ago
    oh sachin,
the second line of your above comment itself contradict with your views. How the hell do you think that Rahul Gandhi understand the pulse of voters?
And I am sure this love for youth is a good thing, but we should remember that in a large country like India we cannot get leader in their 40s or 50s at national level. If someone like Mr. Gandhi is pushed up, it is a slap on the face of our democracy and all those who have spent their 20-30 precious years to come up at national level. They were also young some time.
And who told you that Laloo, Mulayam, Modi, Karat has no brain and political acumen.
Don't flow with emotions, think, and reason with yourself. May be you will get the answer.

    HI Chakresh,

    1) I never said that he understand the pulse of voters.

    2) " a large country like India we cannot get leader in their 40s or 50s at national level"........ this isn't true - barack obama - Age 46, Rajiv gandhi - Age 40 (Youngest PM) et al

    3) I agree Mr. Gandhi is pushed up, but how is it a slap on democracy, haven't before this people being pushed up and assumed power, Sonia Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, our current PM is a to extend is pushed up, he isn't a natural politician......... what matters in democracy is whether people vote for or not.......... whether he/She is pushed up or not is irrelevant.

    4) Please for country sake don't tell me that Laloo, Mulayam, Modi , karat are good for the country and can become PM one day, even a political novice can tell you whats wrong with these guys.

    5) I believe that what i have written isn't emotional stuff and i have reasoned my self before writing, there is no issue of flowing with emotions............

    Thanks for stopping by !!

    1) I never said that he understand the pulse of voters.

    >>>Then why are we wooing him.

    2) " a large country like India we cannot get leader in their 40s or 50s at national level"........ this isn't true - barack obama - Age 46, Rajiv gandhi - Age 40 (Youngest PM) et al

    >>>>>Please tell me how we are promoting democracy by introducing a person directly at national level, just because he belongs to a family. There are hundreds and hundreds of other more talented people trying to make a niche in politics, so without giving them equal chance, imposing a person on a party is democracy?
And surely Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh are good people but not a shining example of democracy.

    4) Please for country sake don't tell me that Laloo, Mulayam, Modi , karat are good for the country and can become PM one day, even a political novice can tell you whats wrong with these guys.

I am gonna vote for Shruti Nautiyal ;-)

Varun Gandhi did show lot of promise, but then suddenly he is gone.......... not a word is said about him in the media........... anyways he is one of the option............. but the really challenge for him will be to climb up the hierarchy in the party, which i guess he will need some time to achieve...........
