Hi Anrosh,

The first thing that I did after reading your comment is - I googled Adirondacks......... one similarity between Adirondacks & sahyadri ranges is that they are not very tall...... i mean Mount Marcy is 5344 ft (1629 m) tall whereas Kalsubai is 1,646 metres (5,400 ft)

oh my god, that last descent-pic.. with water n steps.. it looks soooo creepy n beautiful.. man, this must ve been one helluva trek..

n abt the 'getting pissed off' : i think these kinda dizzy heights can get ne1 cuckoo.// it was probably teh darn kitchidi ya had the last night.. ;);)

Are you a part of some trekking group or something? I also want to do some trekkin now!!

You bet !!! It was one heck of a trek. No yaar i am not a part of any trekking group but we all childhood friends make it a point to go trekking once a year. I would love to be part of a trekking group, one of my college friend is part of one such group,here is the link

You jsut brought back my memories.Honestly the best decision that we made was to trek down through kalyan darwaja coz of that we were able to explore entire Ratangad.
The wind there was strong enough to blow off a person with average weight.
Somthng about our novice friend...
He felt dat life cant get more screwed up than this,"the moment i get down i'l visit a temple to thank god".
He must have seen the gods of all the three world during the descend.

Once i had argued with my friend that y risk your life in these treks but after ratangad i understood the adventure involved in it.
You dont understand the fun in life unless you risk life.

Sachin, I guess the verbal argument tha we had will only make the trek more memorable and dramatic.

Thank you dude for suggesting Ratangad as our trek spot.I really had a BLAST!.
